My cousin Drew and his wife Krystal welcomed their sweet little girl into the world at 5:25 this morning. She made mom and dad wait a week longer than originally planned to see her precious face but she came in perfect time and in perfect form. She weighed in at 8 lbs 15 oz and is 18 inches long. She has a head full of black hair and has the cutest little round face.
I snuck in a couple of cuddles and kisses while we were visiting and told her they were from all of the fam' that couldn't get there yet.
Well, Kate LOVES Payton. She laughed and giggled and told her all about something that none of us could decipher but I'm sure Payton understood every word! If you look real close you can see the huge smile on her face.
While we were there I got to change Payton out of her hospital clothes into a cute little girly outfit and change her first poopy diaper :) Dad was right there taking notes. Good luck next time Drewby, I'm sure you will do great! (Krystal is recuperating from a c-section and won't be allowed to even sit up completely until later tonight. I know she can't wait to be able to move around and do everything herself!) Check out the hair and her sweet little naked body!
She got a little chilly while I was changing her so daddy swaddled her up tight and calmed her right down.
